welcome to My 2021 Goals page. 

Every year I set for myself a long list of goals I want to accomplish. I’ve been doing this for over 12 years now. And this year is no exception. 

Setting ambitious goals is a great way to dramatically improve your life but also a great way of self-discovery.

Or as David Goggins said:

“I don’t know where my limits are, but I want to go there”

I set my goals in various areas of my life, such as: Business, Coaching, Personal life, Health & Fitness, Profile, and Value.

Since 2017, I’ve been sharing my goals publicly along with monthly updates on my progress.

You may be asking… Why?

THESE are my five reasons

  1. For those who are thinking of working with me, I want to show that I walk my talk.

  2. I want others to see me fail. Wait, what? That’s right. Failure is essential part of progress. Pursuing ambitious goals never goals smooth. That’s part of the game. I hope that when others see me facing my challenges they will drop the idea of perfectionism and get on with their goals and dreams.

  3. I want to inspire you to be more courageous with your own goal, be more driven, committed and disciplined.

  4. I want to show you how I get stuff done, how I set goals and how I work towards them so you can apply it for your own growth.

  5. Lastly, when I share my goals with you all it creates the pressure and accountability I need (and want) to push myself. (Trust me, I don’t always feel like it either. But so what?)

Why: More traffic means more visibility, more value shared, and more business. Simple as that.

Why: It will be a great way for people to understand what is missing for them to be more disciplined and productive. It’s also a very engaging way of marketing.

Online Portal

I will easily create Online PORTAL for my Unbreakable Self-Discipline Bootcamp™ by April 1st

Why: I want to create an online library of videos that will allow people to go through the core concepts of the program in their won time. This will then allow me to use our live group calls for Q&A and implementation coaching. This way the participants get even more value out of it.

Re-Launch U.S.D.B

I will easily relaunch my Unbreakable Self-Discipline Bootcamp™ as an ongoing programme April 1st

Why: This will allow people to join at any point rather than at specific launch dates. I want to give people the opportunity to join when they need it.

Migrate marketing


Why: Marketing is absolutely essential to running a successful business. While the platform I’m using works well, it’s lacking some fundamental features I need. Migrating to a different platform will be a challenging task with a steep learning curve.

OUtsource 10 projects

I will outsource and delegate 10 projects BY DECEMBER 31ST

Why: As I grow my business there are more and more tasks that need to be done. I want to free up more of my time so I can focus more on my clients and creating valuable content.

Why: Improving my writing skills will help me communicate more effectively with my readers, be more engaging, captivating, and communicate more clearly.

Why: Funnels are a great way to design an engaging and exciting journey for prospects to get a better understanding of my services and share valuable content with them. I love playing with systems and figuring out what works and what resonates with people. Really looking forward to this.

Why: A/B testing is a powerful way to test what works better. While I have a good understanding of how A/B testing works, I want to be even more strategic with it.

redesign 'ABUOT ME' page

I will easily redesign my ‘About Me’ PAGE by December 31st

Why: My ‘About Me’ page has looked pretty much the same since I created the website in 2015. A lot has happened since then, I’ve grown and achieved a lot that deserves to be on the page. While I quite like the one I have now, for a long time I’ve been sitting on a specific idea of what I’d want the ‘About Me’ page to look like.

My Coaching goals


140 consultations

I will easily RUN 140 initial consultations by December 31st

Why: It will allow me to create the right amount of clients.

I will easily work with 40 new inspiring clients by December 31st.
Why: I can only work with a limited number of clients at a time.  While, in the past,  I used to aim at working with more clients than this, I’m now much more selective, work with fewer clients which will allow me to support them even better.

I will easily run 400 coaching sessions by December 31st
Why: 400 sessions in a year has been a sweet spot for me.

100 reflections

Why: This is something I started two years ago and really enjoyed it as well as learned a lot from it. Reflecting is one of the best ways to improve. Regular reflecting on my coaching sessions will allow me to be more aware of what made the biggest impact (and do more of it) as well as what needs improvement. I’m determined to achieve absolute coaching mastery, and reflection, without any doubt, accelerates my growth.

Why: Even though I’ve been studying personal development since 2004 and coaching since 2013, gained several coaching certifications and a degree in psychology, there is so much more I can and want to learn. I want to be continually improving my coaching skills and knowledge so I can be even more effective and help my clients more.

50 sign-ups

I will easily have 50+ people signing up to my unbreakable self-discipline program by December 31st
Why: I want to help at least 20 people overcome procrastination, self-doubt, excuses, weaknesses, and develop Unbreakable Self-Discipline so they can work towards their goals and dreams.

SSI score 70+

I will easily get my LinkedIn SSI (social selling index) score to 70+ by December 31st

Why: With over 20,000 connections, I want to focus on the quality of my content and the level of engagement with these connections. SSI is a good measure of how engaged I am on LinkedIn and how engaging my content is.

3000 subscribers

I will easily  Reach 3000 subscribers on my youtube CHANNEL by December 31st

Why: Last year I’ve grown from 750 nearly 2000 subscribers without posting any videos. This year I’d like to reach 3000 subscribers which would be fantastic. While 3000 subscribers doesn’t sound like much, but when I imagine a group of 3000 people, it’s pretty incredible that so many people regularly watch my content. #gratitude

4000 watched hours

I will easily Reach 4000 watched hours on my Youtube channel (in the last 12 months) by December 31st

Why: This is a great milestone for a youtube channel. This will also allow me to monetise my channel which is increases channel exposure (it’s just how Youtube works).

I will easily be featured or interviewed 5 times by December 31st

Why: This can be on websites, podcasts, magazines etc. It’s a great way to share my knowledge and experience. It’s usually great fun and very good for growing my audience.

Why: This time for real! Writing a book is a challenging process, but having a book and being a published author will be great for my business and profile. It will also allow me to share the knowledge of becoming the best version of yourself that  I’ve been gaining, practising, and teaching for over 12 years now. I want people to understand why OK is NOT enough!

Speak on stage 5x

I will easily SPEAK on stage/present online at least 3 times (excluding my own workshops) by December 31st

Why: In 2014 I was absolutely terrified with the idea of me speaking in front of people. I decided to challenged my fear and since then I spoke at over 120 events and workshops. These days I speak less often but at paid events and in front of much larger audiences. I want to keep improving my speaking skills.

24 Youtube Videos

will easily record 24 Videos for my Youtube Channel by December 31st

Why: I’ve got great feedback on the videos I’ve created in the past and people find them valuable and helpful. I want to create more as I have a lot to share.

24 articles

i will easily publish 24 articles by December 31st

Why: Writing regular articles is not only a great way to share value and develop a closer relationship with my audience but also to bring more traffic to my website and boost its SEO. I find writing articles quite easy now but still want to improve my writing. This includes my goals updates.

24 videos on linkedin

I will easily post 24 videos on LinkedIn by December 31st

Why: Linkedin is a good social media platform to build my audience on as well. Videos are more engaging and stand out over text posts.

200 posts on linkedin

I will easily post 200 times on LinkedIn by December 31st

Why: I want to be much more active on LinkedIn and develop a better connection with my audience. 200 posts will ensure I’ll be posting on most weekdays which will be a significant improvement over last year. What’s the point of having 20K connections if I’m not connecting with them? Right?

I will easily get 300,000 views of my posts on LinkedIn by December 31st

Why: Posting on Linkedin is one thing, getting your posts seen is another. The more views my posts get the better impact they will create.

I will easily easily Increase my Instagram engagement to 2% by December 31st

Why: While 2% engagement doesn’t sound like much, for my following size, I’d need to get around 400 engagements per post (likes + comments). That’s a lot!

1200 instagram Posts

I will easily easily Reach 1200 total posts on Instagram by December 31st

Why: I want to be consistently active on Instagram. 150 posts will do it. The starting point in 2021 was 1050. So I should reach the total number of posts in 2021 to be 1200.

My Health & fitness goals


52 fasts

I will easily Complete 52 x 24 hour fast (no food) or green days (only raw fruit or veg) by December 31st

Why: I started fasting two years ago and I could FEEL the positive impact it had on my mind and body. While it may seem challenging I got used to it very quickly and actually look forward to the fasting days. It’s a great way to practice self-discipline let your body restore.

48 hour fast

I will easily complete a 48 hour fast (no food) by December 31st

Why: Something I’d like to try and challenge myself with. There is a lot of evidence that 48 hour fast has great health benefits. Bring it on.

200 workouts

I will easily workout 200 times by December 31st

Why: Exercising is a great way to look after your body, stay healthy, manage your weight, be in a good shape, it energises you, strengthen your self-discipline, and build a stronger connection and understanding of your body. What’s not to like?

I will easily Work with a personal trainer online or offline by June 1st

Why: If you want certain results, work with someone who’s got them already. I want to work(out) under the supervision of a professional PT especially during the weight-loss period.

100 push-ups

I will easily do 100 push-ups in one go by December 31st

Why: I failed at this last year. My approach this year is to add 1 extra pushup every day. This should be gradual enough to get there.

I will easily do 10,000 push-ups (in total) by December 31st

Why: This is a sub-goal to my 100 push-ups in one go to ensure I do enough training. Plus, it sounds like a great goal, too.

Why: It’s a physical challenge I’d like to accomplish. It’s harder than you might think. Planking is a great exercise to strengthen my core.

Why: This is a sub-goal to my 5-minute plank challenge to ensure I do enough training.

Why: Simply, it’s a really sexy running goal to me. 1000km! Such a beautiful number.

Why: It’s a challenging but doable running distance.

Why: I’d love to beat my last years personal (and the only) record of 4:02:04

Why: Well, I don’t think I need to say much more about this one.

2.5km under 9 minutes

I will easily run 2.5km under 9 minutes by December 31st

Why: It’s something I was able to do in 2020. I’d like to get there again.

I will easily run 5km under 19 minutes by December 31st

Why: It’s something I was able to do in 2020. I’d like to get there again.

10km under 41 minutes

I will easily run 10km under 41 minutes by December 31st

Why: My best time last year was 41:38. 🙂

Yoga 50x

I will easily do yoga or stretching 50 times by December 31st

Why: With all the running and working out I want to make sure I stay flexible.

My personal development goals


Start learning tagalog

I will easily start learning Tagalog by December 31st

Why: Well, well, well, I have plans to move to the Philippines so speaking their language to some basic level would be respectful if nothing else.

200 meditations

I will easily complete 200 meditations by December 31st

Why: I’ve been meditating regularly for years now. I find it a great way to start the day, to centre myself and focus my mind.

Advance meditation

I will easily complete an advanced meditation course by December 31st

Why: While I believe I’m quite knowledgable about meditation, I’d like to take it a step deeper.

Read 12 books

I will easily finish 12 books by December 31st

Why: Reading books have made an irreplaceable impact on my life, thinking, and success. With every book, I read my mind becomes more open and I become richer with knowledge. This year I’m aiming for fewer books as I want to truly absorb and implement.

Why: Journaling is an invaluable way to gain clarity, think through your ideas and challenges. It’s also a great place to rant and complain so you don’t bother the world with it. No one is interested.

Why: Regular reflecting and planning is an absolute necessity for effective progress. Moreover, it’s something I really enjoy.

    Will that be a Facebook video?). You have also inspired me to get serious about goal setting. So here’s what I’m going to do… I’m going to revisit our Self-Discipline Bootcamp workbook on Irresistible Goals, do the exercises and write out my goals for 2021 by this time next week.     Good morning Tomas, great read. I can see how this is a good motivator + accountability increase. I like that you completed the Tagalog language goal already but have not started the book… Looks like moving to the Philippines is a greater motivation?!
    The inspiration I took: I always think I have got too many things I am focusing on/ I aim to achieve. Reading your lists is reassuring that it is not impossible to reach my goals with determination & focus.

      The book is a secondary goal. Not very urgent. There are only so many plates I can spin well so some things need to wait.
      I’m glad to hear you took some inspiration from it. Absolutely, push on with your goals.
