Lesson from the pink panther

Lesson from The Pink Panther: Don’t Underestimate Small Beginnings

It’s been a few days since the Barbie vs Oppenheimer trend died down.

But when the trend was going strong, you could see a lot of people wearing pink clothes.

Ironically, all of this pink really made me think about a different movie…

It’s a movie that I still think about.

And It’s called The Pink Panther.

I remember watching it as a kid. Even with a pretty bad Czech dubbing, it was hilarious.

Inspector Clouseaou was a true legend.

(My mum hated him though, especially when my dad acted like him to tease her).

Anyway, over the course of years, The Pink Panther series has become a big deal.

You see, the first Pink Panther movie was released in 1963.

It was a massive success at the Box Office.

Thanks to its success, the Pink Panther series was born.

And till date, 11 Pink Panther movies have been released.

I have to be honest – I’m a huge Pink Panther fan.

And I really like the opening part of the Pink Panther movies.

You know, that cute Panther who walked to the iconic Pink Panther theme music.

The cartoon appeared in the first Pink Panther movie for barely a minute.

But people loved it.

The character became so popular that a new animated show called The Pink Panther Show came into existence.

And it ran for 11 seasons!

11 seasons is a huge deal considering that…

Friends, the sitcom, has 10 seasons…

Game of Thrones has 8 seasons…

Stranger Things has 4 seasons…

From barely a minute to 11 seasons!

A small cameo turned into a popular show!

So what’s the takeaway here?

Small intros can lead to big outcomes!

Let me explain…

Most people underestimate the power of starting small and small changes.

Most people want to go from 0 to 100, progress fast, and succeed big!

And as glorified as it may be on social media, this rarely works.

However, small changes can have a significant impact.

So, the small habit of reducing the time you spend on your smartphone can free up a lot of time for you.

Let’s say you reduce it by just 15 minutes a day.

Doesn’t sound like much, hey?

But over the course of a year, it adds up to over 91 hours!

That’s over two weeks of full-time job worth of time.

And the time you save, you can put towards working on your goals.

Similarly, if you do 5 pushups every day, it’ll help you build physical strength, and you’ll soon be able to do 6, 8, and 10.

Doing 10 pushups will make you want to do 15 pushups.

And soon enough, you might turn into a pushup machine.

There are endless examples of how small habits can have a big change on your life.

And so if you’d like to start building better habits…

If you’d like to start making steady progress towards your goal,

(rather than just thinking about them)…

If you’d like to become your own Pink Panther-like success…

Then let’s talk because I can help you do that.
